LBD Chapter 12
You all did a good job this week on the reading. I hope it is getting easier for you.
I'm not sure you understood why Vivian can't go away with Grant. She is separated from her husband, but not yet divorced. She is very worried that her husband will hear that she is spending time with (sleeping with) Grant. If he does, he could argue that she is an unfit mother and take the kids away from her. That's why she and Grant have to sneak away to another town to be alone together.
